EDITOR KOTA | SELAYAR — The name Paopodo Hilltop may still sound unfamiliar and not as well-known as other camping destinations in Indonesia.
However, the panoramic views and natural scenery are no less stunning and can even rival the beauty of camping destinations in other regions.
The summit of Paopodo Hill is more than just a regular camping spot. This hillside area, located in Pa'batteang Hamlet, Lalang Bata Village, is a miniature showcase for the tourism potential and natural canvas of Buki District, Selayar Regency, South Sulawesi.
A variety of alternative tourist activities can be enjoyed at the summit of Paopodo Hill, including hunting jungle fowl, birds, bagong, and/or wild boar. The open natural structure of the hill, coupled with cool, fresh air, makes Paopodo Hill a perfect destination for holding a series of meetings in the open field (amphitheater).
